I haven't been online much lately for a number of different reasons. But I miss all my friends when I am not online. I felt like I needed to post something, but I didn't know what. So I decided that I would post some thoughts.... bare with me they might be kind of random and feel free to comment or start a dialogue about what I write...

~Love~

We all come here in search of love, well most of us do. We see the same things posted over and over again... why aren't I good enough, what's wrong with me, I am giving up or I am giving up on this site... etc...

Here is what I have to say:

1. Love yourself! You can't expect someone to love you, if you first don't love yourself. So if that means taking time to get to know yourself and change the things about yourself that you don't like about yourself, be sure to do that before looking for someone. Noone can fill your voids, only you can!

2. If you are searching for love or attention, you will find it! However, it will not be what you truly want. When you are actively looking for love, you become blinded to red flags or may compromise to attain love. This of course also ties into #1. Don't actively look, keep your heart open to the possiblities. Do what you want to do, have fun, and grow as a person and when the 'one' comes along it will be wonderful.

3. Know or work to be come a complete person! Being in a relationship shouldn't define or make you a whole person. You should be or work towards being a whole person on your own. Yes, being in a relationship should add to you and help you grow, however, you should feel complete as a person before entering into a relationship. When you are happy with yourself, you will be able to be in a happy relationship.


~Loss~

Sometimes in life there are things that are lost... relationships, loved ones, jobs, things and beliefs/faith.

There are periods in life that everyone needs to reflect on things. At these times, you need to take inventory of your life, be thankful for your blessings and be extra thankful for the things that are lost because that makes room for new things, people and ideas in your life. If you lost something and you want it back, truly look deep inside yourself and decide if you really need it, if you really want it or just the idea of it, and if it benefits and adds to your life.

There are times that we hang on to those losses and then can't see great things in front of us. Make your peace and let go!

~You and Life~

You are a make up of dna, life experiences, and a bunch of other stuff. When you recognize that you can't change your dna, then you might be less likely to crave something your body cannot be. When you realize that your life experience help to mold who you are, then you can make changes or embrace what you have become. Life is all about changes, we don't stay the same as we were when we were born. We grow up, change, and live life and experience all life has to offer. Yes, each of our lives are different which leads each of us to be different individuals.

When you look back on everything in your life, embrace it and embrace yourself.
