Now i am a moderately liberal person, i was a firm supporter of hillary, and i call myself a democrat however when comparing the two obama .. can i just say is a first year senator, hes done nothing to prove himself to america, he has never been in the military , and he is half black, obama has the ability to speak, and he has his race on his side; I was just wondering how many of you if you are a clinton supporter will be switching your vote to mccain or if you will go with obama. Bush got partial birth abortion banned and I PRAISE GOD ALMIGHTY FOR THAT, I WOULD RATHER BE DEAD DAMNED AND ROTTING IN ABSOLUTE HELL than vote for anyone who is NOT PRO LIFE! If one is for abortion, to me that proves the lack of respect for life, and if that person has such little regard for life, I certainly do NOT want him/her as President. To me, the whole issue of abortion tells me the character and integrity of that person. Pro-abortion - I have no regard for that person. Oh, Fanta, you read the e-mail totally wrong. It is my former boss who is voting for McCain for the pro-life issue! THINK ABOUT IT FANTA, that is a man who defends people for a living! You are totally oblivious to the people who value LIFE, family life, moral values. no, you're both merely another example of people jumping on the race wagon as soon as you see it without reading the whole thing, first of all may i say I am a feminist and believe in equality for all reguardless of gender or race, socio economical class, religion, etc. you skipped over everything except for the race, the words.. he is half black... Obama has pulled the race card by calling himself black to gain black supporters; however, his mother is half white so instead of calling himself mixed, he chooses to say " black" instead of mixed or white... hes using it to his advantage. My issue isn't someones color or gender my issue is where do they stand in relation to my opinions , to helping this country out, and more importantly if i believe they could handle the position. i believe he is naive and he has the power of speech but nothing else which is why i'm not sure which way my vote will be going. first of all pro choice advocates don't ahve less respect for life, what they have respect for is choice. no government has the right to tell a woman what to do with her body. Not too mention i am a pro choice advocate however i have never had an abortion and I probably never will... i can add some food for thought, what if your beautiful 13 yr old daughter is raped by someone when shes walking home from school, or is raped by a teacher or a family member and becomes pregnante would you damn her to carrying a child in school for 9 months, then when she has it will you love it, will she love it, how will it affect her emotionally since we know women who are rapped experience what men in the military experience after coming home from war. not to mention would you give it up for adoption? how do you know its going to a good home, what if the child searches you and your daughter out, and finds out its a child of a rapist, then again what if you are raped getting into your car from the grocery store or coming home from work how would that affect your marriage? The other aspect is what if your daughter becomes pregnante and maybe you're financialy able to have a child maybe not... how will it affect her mentally how will she be able to handle it what if she goes in the bathroom and sticks a hanger in her vagina and punctures the wrong thing killing herself and the fetus, what if she pays 2000 dollars for a black market abortion and the pseudo dr kills her? what if shes pregnante with her health in danger and the only way to save her is to abort the baby. What i tend to find is most of the time pro life advocates don't think about the possibilities they merely assume its women using it as birth control, not only this but they fail to care about the life after its born, like i said if you give the baby up either for adoption or maybe you give it to the state like leave it at the hospital is that joshuas law or jacobs law something like that and say they're put into an ophanage or foster care etc. how will they grow up ... it may be in a loving home,... it may be in a very unloving environment where they change homes multiple times or are never adopted... you have to think about others and not just your own beliefs... I care about life but what kind of life will it be if you have one you don't want. the 3rd trimester abortion is never preformed right now , it was challenged like in 2006 somewhere around there to make an amendment to it to say that a woman can have one if it endangers her life, and it was turned down. but yes you are right 3rd trimesters are hardly done even when they were legal. its mostly first trimester.

not to mention may i add the non profit organization that i work for I am the only white worker, and the children and families we help are 90% black 8 % hispanic and maybe 2 % white... I choose to work here because i care about what this organization is doing and i believe it needs it not because of the money or the race or anything else its a half hour from my home the pay is decent not great not bad but decent and no health coverage.. so please don't imply that i just said a racist comment. I just asked! I thought that read wrong though! Thank you for clearing that up for me!

i honestly didn't mean it in a racist way i probably should have clarified more what i was trying to say i merely have a problem with the fact he doesn't 'embrace his whole heritage to me it seemed/seems hes trying for part of it to pull in those votes, and I know the news i watch fox has been talking about that hes a great speaker but one challenge for him this election is going to be away to talk to the black voters and to draw in black people who haven't voted before without segregating the white voters. my thing is to me obviously not to everyone the media created obama and to me he just has no experience and its hard for me to believe in someone thats only served 2 years in the senate, to see they can go from just making it in the senate to being the president of the united states, i do believe it is time for change, but i think we need smart change, and change that can continually happen and benefit the american people and im just not sure if he has the credientials and experience to make those promises happen, but as i told someone who emailed me i think we're in trouble no matter who wins a democrat or a republican. not to mention may i add the non profit organization that i work for I am the only white worker, and the children and families we help are 90% black 8 % hispanic and maybe 2 % white... I sponsor a little girl who lives in the ghetto of Bushwick, Brooklyn, NY. through a ministry I support in Brooklyn, NY, Metro Ministries founded by Bill Wilson, that is totally dedicated to helping children in the ghettos, not only in the US but around the world! I not only sponsor a little girl which provides her with food, clothing, Christmas presents, Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners, school supplies, counseling, I support Metro Ministry financially. Now i am a moderately liberal person, i was a firm supporter of hillary, and i call myself a democrat however when comparing the two obama .. can i just say is a first year senator, hes done nothing to prove himself to america, he has never been in the military , and he is half black, obama has the ability to speak, and he has his race on his side; I was just wondering how many of you if you are a clinton supporter will be switching your vote to mccain or if you will go with obama. In addition, i believe he plays his race card to his advantage by trying to outsource to african americans and claiming his ethnicity to be black when it best suits him. Did you just say Obama's skin color will keep you from voting for him? You said that he is half white but still calls himself black like it is a negative thing. People that are half black/half white are still called black. When they take the census, that is how they do it. Everytime they fill out any form that asks the race, they check black. |
