HI,, my daughter wants a laptop... walmart has one its a acer
15.4" aspire 3515-2077 i dont know anything about laptops.. never owned on,, is that a good comp

It has been my experience that Acers suck. Watch the ads when school starts up. I got a great Compaq last year at Best Buy for $400.00. The only downfall was it had Vista, but more stuff is compatible with it now than was then.

best laptops in the market are Dells...depending on what your needs are and how much you can spend you can find a decent one at their website...

I bought my last lap top from their website, they had the best prices..beating even Walmart and BestBuy...came in the mail no problem and with full technical support...

check dell website ...do the research on what you need and want...then call them direct and have it built to your specs.
I bought an xps for 1/3 rd of the price by getting rid of crap I didnt need, added memory and speed, then bought the other programs I wanted at office max

Or, if you feel adventurous, you could try hitting the pawn shops. Sure, you'd have to deal with some rather unsavory characters, but you CAN haggle with them a little bit. If you have your information set beforehand, you can score a major deal.

thanxs all for the info...after changing her mind a few times, we ended up at best buy.. even there she changed her mind, go figure kids lol
