“Whispers in the Night”


There will be some that come.
And some that will go.
No matter what the reason.
At times we will never know.

They will touch your soul.
And leave footprints upon your heart.
There will be times when they leave.
You will hate to see them depart.

Then there will be others you will meet.
Your heart they will touch.
And like a flash they will be gone.
As they leave you missing them so much.

You see in this life it is not as we want.
Things to be, at times you will see a face.
They try to fit in but soon they give up.
They realize this was not their place.

It seems they come in like the wind.
At times quiet but strong.
They make there entrance.
But then things seem to be all wrong.

So they leave like a soft whisper.
Just quietly within the night.
Not saying a word to any one.
For things was not quiet right.

They will stumble and look.
For now again they must roam.
Finally again they will find.
That one place they can call home.

You see don’t fret because they left.
They were here long enough to touch your heart.
At times there comes a time for some.
That it is just their time to part.

It had nothing to do with you.
You see for in the very end.
They still look back and remember you.
And that you were their friend till the end.
