she wanted to wish me a happy fahers day.......
as we talked I could hear her starting to cry.... I asked her "whats wrong princess??" she said daddy I saved my allowance you gave me so I could buy you a present, and you will not get it today........ I told her it was ok , but............ I am tore up  its the innocence of a child that makes you realize what you truely have in life.....JMHO!

I agree. My brother shares joint custody with his ex, he gets his son every other week. But on Mother's day, Father's day, and both of the parent's birthday, they get the child from 12pm to 7pm regardless of who's week it is. |

This may already have been said, but just have Father's Day next week. My grandchildren think there are multiple's of every holiday! It works out great for everybody!

I learned long ago that the date isnt important.
Hell x-mas actually worked in my favor,it was a week late but all the toys they asked for were 80% off by then......dad kinda spoiled them 
it was more the thought that a child would put so much thought into doing something nice. I think alot of people could learn from them if they'd only listen.
