Hi Buttons, how are you?
Remember in those days, if your teacher suddenly disappeared, usually meant she was pregnant. Didn't allow pregnant teachers to teach. Girls could not wear pants in school, could wear them under our skirts to school in cold weather but had to take the pants off in school. And, the skirts had to reach the floor when you got down on your knees or you were sent home to change. |

I remember long lines waiting to be innoculated..in first grade..
the scary doctor and the nurse at the end of the line with the needle.. I remember mr sides the principle taking his belt off to whip billy capoli in 5th grade.. |

My grandkids are here for a visit and my 2-1/2 y/o grandson keeps coming
up and whacking the keyboard, so know what you mean. And the dog is chasing the cat. |

Forgot about the shots. Had a girl in our class that would faint at the
site of a needle. They would try to wake her up to give her the shot, and she would faint again, don't think she ever got her shot. Yeah, think they used a paddle in our school, again the same principal, Mrs. Haller, had my dad, as we kids did. |

boy..the halls were wooden floors..the heat was from noisy radiators and
the chairs were uncomforatble.. |

Remember that. Had a kid who ate 3 dead goldfish in 9th grade for $5.
Another kid ate a live lizard from biology class for $5, the lizard was big though, about 7 or 8 inches, in the same grade I think, maybe 10th. |

thats funny!!! I threw a orange down the hall and it rolled up mr
clarks leg and wacked him up under the chin..He never knew what hit him. We use to have huge food fights in the cafe.. I remember when milk was 5 cents for lunch.. I remember I jumped the fence and cyphoned diesel fuel out of the bus into my van in 12th grade..I found out why Id never do that again.. Remmeber when richard wilbur cut off half his finger in sheet metal shop |
