Chris Wallace and Roger Ailes were just telling some very interesting personal stories they experienced with him. It really sheds light on his personality and such, very compelling stuff. All of it, plus his journalism, especially his Sunday Meet The Press is certainly one of my favorite news program.

I understood he was with the winds of the administration each time they blew . Am I wrong here? . We are all going to die .
Perhaps we should all be fair , just and honest to say the least .:cry: :cry: :cry: ....!.

I just got home & read about Tim Russert's death. What a shock, he will certainly be missed, especially during the elections.

In a sea of opinionated, agenda driven, leftist media types Tim Russert stood out as a true Journalist/Anchor/Reporter that could interview, mediate or just tell the news without putting any bias or spin into it.The success of Meet the Press is solely his doing and it will be a huge challenge for a liberal leaning network like NBC to replace such a great man. In the many times I have watched Tim Russert in his many roles I could never figure out what his personal "leanings" were....that is a testament to his professionalism and true sense of what journalism should be....He will certainly be missed.brokenheart

He started his career being a Democratic operative who worked for both Daniel Patrick Moynihan and Mario Cuomo.

Maybe NBC should look at someone from Fox's "Fair and Balanced" stable? I can just hear it now:

:::::cue Meet the Press Music:::

...with your host, Sean Hannity."

:::::sound of phonograph needle skating across record:::::

Naw.

Wait. Wait. I know. Howsabout...

:::: rewind sound then 'Meet the Press' theme coming back up to speed::::

".... with your host, Ann Coulter."

Yeah, that should erase anyone's doubt that NBC was part of the left-leaning MSM.

Generally speaking the media support the Administration agenda and propaganda and this is a big problem for the nation as too many people take the news as real and as truth .
The media should be honest , realistic and tell the truth and the whole truth .

Wow, I just read about this a minute ago. I missed the program this morning so I didn't know about it. He was actually one of the very few commentators that I enjoyed listening to regarding politics. He will surely be missed. My condolences flowerforyou flowerforyou
