ok i work at fedex and im part of the primary sort. we arent really able to talk to each other because of the noise and were pretty well spaced out, but occasionally we get someone on our line with us that helps ya. ive been telling people since i started that were some kind of fu.cked up social experiment and today i think proves it. me and this chick were talking and bustin some as.s when my manager comes over and says the control called and said that we were talkin to much, and that we were to backed up to be talkin so much. i say ok and when he leaves i check my rate or my boxes scanned per hr. the grading scale on that is like 1800+ is outstanding.... we were at 2100. so i said **** it and we kept talking.... my manager came back and moved me to a different line and said try not to talk so much here (like the pompous ass that he is)

Alot of people don't get to see it from the "other" side. Fedex may be a huge corporation but, for those of us running small business, it's all our money on the line and also the responsbility of our employess.
