I wonder if my employees talk about me like this? 
They probably do, oh well....At least the job gets done

oh i completely agree if the jobs not being done then bust some employees ass but if theyre actually doing better than outstanding on ur grading scale that u post all over the place then id say id just let them do there thing and keep up the good work

But I guess we are talking apples and oranges. Corporation vs. small business. I know the names of all the employess, thier spouse/gf&bf and kids. So for me it's more like a family. People get alot of praise for a job well done and alot of s*** for slacking. |

What kind of employer doesn't allow talking. That is the most stupid thing I've ever heard. Do they give you spankings if you don't obey?

ok i work at fedex and im part of the primary sort. we arent really able to talk to each other because of the noise and were pretty well spaced out, but occasionally we get someone on our line with us that helps ya. ive been telling people since i started that were some kind of fu.cked up social experiment and today i think proves it. me and this chick were talking and bustin some as.s when my manager comes over and says the control called and said that we were talkin to much, and that we were to backed up to be talkin so much. i say ok and when he leaves i check my rate or my boxes scanned per hr. the grading scale on that is like 1800+ is outstanding.... we were at 2100. so i said **** it and we kept talking.... my manager came back and moved me to a different line and said try not to talk so much here (like the pompous ass that he is) 
 WTF ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
one manager years ago told me to tell my staff the following "They are allowed to be happy but laughing is not allowed" You know what I did? I left and the next job was the best move ever. |

man that is fu.cked up.........you're actually doing your job and get reprimanded, but every dr's office, emergency room and social services office you see the secretaries and nurses sitting their a.ss either playing games on the computer (you'll know if they are dumb enough to leave the sound on) or talkin it up and NOT about the patients.......

Not that I don't agree with you, but you should really be careful what you post online about your jobs. Boeing here in Seattle fired a bunch of employees for derogetory online content posted by employees. Just a heads up.
