NWE...isn't that the relatively new Italian company?

In this monopolistic age of pro wrestling, it is always good to see new wrestling companies surviving and even thriving.

Let's just pray that WWE doesn't snuff it out with their yet-to-be-implemented international expansion...Italy is one of the many countries they're thinking about opening offices in.

Oh, man, don't get me started on McMahon...

He's done a lot to change wrestling for the better, but he's done an equal amount to damage it.devil

As far as the purported international expansion, his vision, drive and determination gives it a fair chance at succeeding, and that scares me...

Countries like Britain and Italy would probably pay immediate dividends for WWE, because there is little competition there and because the WWE product has good exposure.

Not so sure about major hotbeds like Japan or Mexico...Wrestling promotions with a sports entertainment philosophy typically don't fare well in Japan, as for Mexico, fans of that country have usually been intolerant of WWE, even though Lucha Libre has become almost Americanized over the past decade.

But give McMahon time, and he'll probably make things work. Enjoy the next few years because in another ten, McMahon may have conquered the whole wrestling world, changing the Japanese and Mexican styles into the boring WWE style.

Vince McMahon is the devil.mad

Wrestling is not quite dead yet, to me at least. If you watch wrestling for wrestling, I highly recommend watching Ring of Honor, New Japan, SHIMMER, etc. These, and others, have a very high quality of wrestling.

Reasonably speaking, the wrestling aspect of wrestling can never truly die. No matter how strong WWE gets, there will always be a niche demand for pure wrestling without the boring skits, storylines, etc.
