A man is standing in a room, is he gay or straight? No way to tell just by looking at him. Sexuality is a characteristic of a person, not the person. Your logic is faulty.

I can't believe you actually posted this.

Love the sinner but hate the sin, brother.

When it comes to homosexuality you can't do that. You can't spearate the sin from the so-called sinner.

A homosexual person is what they are.

If you hate homosexuality, then you hate the homosexual person. The sin and the sinner are inseparable.

If you hate the sin, you hate the sinner in this case.

So Christianity becomes bigotry in its finest gory glory.

I hate the sin but love the sinner; even though I would change the sinner's ways if I could. I still love him unconditionally. I hate to think about his ways. Love hurts sometimes. brokenheart

Self-deleted. It was a mean question that showed no respect and I should never have posted.

Hating people for who they are because of superstitious beliefs is bigotry.

That's a fact, not a judgment.

Liking something or not is a form of judgement but...ohwell
I'm not going around hating people, flogging them or telling them they are going to hell. I don't usually give my opinion on it at all. Discernment is not really judging. I don't like pumpkin pie but I don't harm it. Everyone judges.

Yes, that's nice. You have a great ability to disemble. Now tell me, who here has said that they hate Homosexuals? I haven't seen a single post saying that someone hated homosexuals. So who exactly are you talking about? Why have all of the Christians here somehow avoiding the Bigot making powers of Christianity?

Fantastic question Miquel!

Perhaps it is all a matter of how deeply one has established a personal morality and ethics code. Moreover, how much the opposing notion negatively affects the individual on a personal level.

Good thought provoking question!

It is also good to see you!!

my brother with the same name, it's always a pleasure seeing u around.

That's a fact, not a judgment.

a fact just for you, and those who think like you.
what is fact for you not necessarily is a fact for everybody else.
get over yourself.

Who's judging?

I'm just pointing out that you can't seperate homosexualiy from the person who claims to be innately homosexual.

As far as they are concenred that WHO THEY ARE!

If you hate homosexuals then you hate THEM.

You can't claim that WHO THEY ARE is a sin.

You can't separate a homosexual from who they are to claim that you hate what they are, but not who they are.

That nonsense.

Christianity is just an excuse for bigoty.

Poor homosexuals. They are only homosexual. They can't have jobs or hobbies or families or friends...they are just homosexuals in your mind. I think that a homosexual person is a lot more than their sex drive.

think, u r pretty good in that one.
when in the OP did I use the word "hate?"
I said "being against."
Being against does not mean to hate.
I don't know too much english, but I think there is hell of a difference between those.
so James let's go back to the basics.
who is hating?

It's ok Spider. I knew what you meant by it. No offense taken.

I'd like to elaborate on that anyway.

I said, "Christianity Creates Bigots".

I didn't say, "All Christians are Bigots".

There's a difference.

I hold that Chrisitanity does indeed create bigots. But it doesn't necessarily have that affect on EVERYONE who becomes a Christian.

But it certainly does have that affect on many people.

They use the religion to justify bigotry.

But Jesus taught not to judge.

So anyone who uses the religion for bigoty is NOT following the teachings of Jesus.
