I'm white. I'm voting for Obama. I don't think it is a huge issue anymore. But there are some areas where people are sit stubborn, hidebound, and hanging on to stupid logic and will probably not vote for him because of race.

race is not even the factor here. It's the best man for the job (well as he is perceived as the best man).

I think race will be an issue to some, and possibly enough of a factor to get him defeated. What I wonder aboutis the ladies who supported Hillary...gender might hurt himmore than race. I'm voting for Pamela Anderson 'cause she has love BOOBIESloveand shows them off frequently. Besides, think about it, a president who has done a Playboy spread.laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh

I personally don't see it as an issue. If I don't vote for him it will be due to me not agreeing with his ideas of how the country should be run.

what happens in the very near future when there becomes so many interracial relation ships that noone is able to tell if the are black, white, Asian, Hispanic, then what will we base our hatred on.............you are only 25% black you can't hangout with me because i'm 75%............really when are we all going to be able to live as one and really be able to accomplish something great

Do all forget that Obama is interracial, so how does one label him either black or white and is it not to do with what he will do for this country and not the color of his skin?

Makes me wonder when color seems to be the main issue. JMO

Race is a real problem like in O.J. Simpson trial ...etc .

Race is only an issue if you let it be an issue.

I prefer to focus on the policies, the platform and the voting record.
If everyone did, we wouldn't be looking at a Obama/McCain, instead we'd be looking at Kucinich/Paul.

Those were the only 2 guys I heard the entire primary season talking about following the Constitution.
