I was the shortest, and by extension, the most ridiculed kid in school...all my friends were two or three years younger than me, at least.

I dropped out in 9th grade back in '93, and my biggest regret is not going out with more of a bang...no high school shootout thing, I just wish I'd told everyone there how I felt, and how they were responsible for my leaving. But to this day, I don't regret quitting.

It got so bad, that I expected everyone who was around my age to heap abuse on me, so for a long time, I made friendships only with people 2-5 years younger than me.

The best decision I ever made was going to get my upgrading...not in the same school, of course... but in the early 2000s, I went into that course expectin' everyone to hate me. I was astonished when absolutely everyone in that place was accepting of me. Made some of my best friends ever in that upgrading course, and it made for some of the greatest years of my life!

In every applicable sense, doing upgrading was the exact opposite of my grade school years, and I get a lot of satisfaction from thinking about that. So, in the end, it all worked out for the best.

<------ voted most likely to incite a riot or take over a small country. Graduated at 15. Straight A's. Graduated with honors. And was honor roll student. Popular? Yeah my senior year I was. My junior year I was at a school I hated. At 15 I Got my license, bought a car, moved, changed schools, and been kickin ass ever since. Freedom baby!
