River City Ransom for NES, which came out in '89 or so.
I downloaded the remodeled River City Ransom Ex for GBA (which is basically the same game plus relatively updated graphics and a few additions) and for about a whole week, I couldn't stop playing it. In this modern era of Fable and Assassin's Creed, no other old school games have compelled me to play as much. Not even the Donkey Kong Country series, which are my favorites from the '90s. |
