Watch out
For those that come on strong
they will lure you in
saying nothing will go wrong

You begin to think
can this truly be
is it possible
i've found the one for me

They make you think
that there is hope
all the while around your neck
they tighten the rope

Then things begin to change
lots of rumors being said
what you thought was good
turned out to be something different instead

You stop and you wonder
as these thoughts fill your mind
you ask yourself
am I really that blind

Yet another time
you have let someone in
but just like the rest
there's no real love in the end

Then the rumors start
they begin to fly
false accusations
and no one standing on your side

Miss leading statements
the truth not being said
these things floating around
inside everyone's head

Think what you want
it doesn't matter what you believe
take your so called truth and dishonesty
and leave me be

I have done nothing wrong
I know who I am
I am just another human being
doing the best that I can
