if you woke up one morning, switched on the radio, and heard a news program with only good news? That there would be no bad News whatsoever, all of a sudden. Wouldn't you wonder if you were dreaming? Wouldn't you feel not quite right?

Well, I don't listen to the radio in my home and I have satellite radio in my car so no commercials or news broadcast. But on TV, I wait until about 10 minutes after it's started because that's when the weather comes on which means I bypass all the horrible news. And they don't put the good news on until after the weather, so I avoid it altogether.

I am a firm believer that positive words and actions beget positive words and actions, and the same for negatives. If only we did get more positive instead of feeding negativity, there likely would be less distress and violence in the world in general.

Anyone remember the magazine "The Optimist?"
Didn't think so. It bailed in the 80s because no one wanted to read about good news. The freak show yellow journalism and macabre stories sell. sad but true |

Just wait, if Obama becomes president, socialism and censorship may not be too far off. Liberals don't buy into censorship. This much I know. Now, socialistic tendencies may be another story. Mornin' Lovie |
