JMO........how many people don't use it just becasue it is illeagal? Not
many. I ve been around it most of my life. Seems to me that in that
case, people are going to do it whether it is legal or not.

I don't believe that more will do it now. Thats said, I can turn the
coin over and say that as time progresses, more will as the kids will
pick it up too.

The OTHER drunk driver? I don't drink and I didn't drive when I drank.
So, the answer to your question is no, I don't drive "in fear of" the
drunk driver, but I do drive defensively. I always watch out for "the
other driver," whether they're drunk or not. People here are horrible
drivers, for the most part. You HAVE to watch out for them.

ANYTHING is not good for you. You want to get high, by all means, do so.

I know from personal experience what smoking pot does to you, and it
does impair your ability to drive, for one thing. Now, to what extent
depends on various factors.

It also has detrimental effects on your health in various ways.

However, I was never stupid enough or stubborn enough to argue its
"merits" for one's health, nor argue that it wouldn't affect my
judgment, nor impair my ability to function normally.

And those who do, IMO, are not what can be construed as "responsible
users."

With such a lacksadaisical attitude as yours, I'll just park and walk
until I know that you're not out driving the streets stoned out of your
mind just because you think you "ought to be able to."

Sorry really don't see what the big deal is if you want to smoke it

I have never tried pot, and don't smoke cigarettes either, but do type
for doctors and have heard them tell their patients that the lung cancer
risk for smoking pot is the same as it is for smoking cigarettes.

In fact, they are now finding that smoking cigarettes increases your
risk of bladder cancer, don't know the reason, but have typed it many
times, includes exposure second hand smoke in this one.

Just stating a fact, not taking any sides. Take care.

Are you aware that there are no speed limits on German Autobahn's
(highways) yet they have a much lower instance of accidents and highway
death's. Accidents happen because people feel the need to push the
needle as close to limit as they can or pass it thinking they won't get
caught while others follow the limit. It's when they try to get in and
out of the flow of traffic that problems occur.
