I've gotten replies from guys stating they are not interested in dating me because I am a single mom. I'm not offended by it, because every one is entitled to there opinions as to what type of person they want to date. I personally don't have a problem dating a man that has a child/children.

I've asked the guys as to what their reasons were, but I don't get a reply. So I guess my question is, what are the reasons? Anybody got any incite on this?

Oddly, that hasn't happened to me yet. Perhaps because they pass me by when they see I have one on my profile.
But, even I, as a single parent, may have ISSUES dating another single parent. BECAUSE, I must know the relationship with the ex. Some exes still have massive power, hatred, putrid ideas, nasty behaviours with regard to the guy, use the kids as bait & collateral, etc. Some people are still so wrapped up in their exes and the games and the kids get played. So would I. No way, Jose'!!

I think some say that because they feel they would have to take on the responciblity and wouldn't have the time with you as they would if you were single. Just one thought that comes to mind of many.

I think, for some, it has to do with commitment. You will always have a stronger commitment to your kids that you will to him.

I have never been rejected because of my children. I do believe men see women with children as easy prey. I know thats negative of me, but I know as women we have all been there. Just a toy not realizing that we werent more. Shoot I was married for 11yrs. lol You have to laugh at it.
