and that has been disputed at every post.

He says the Pledge like most and places his hand on his chest like most.

I am sorry. I honestly didn't know that. But it just makes me upset that people expect others to conform to what everyone else is doing just to prove themselves worthy.

I'm watching him on a live broadcast here in my state. He is talking about his plan for a new health care policy. I am very impressed.

Has he explained how he is going to pay for it?

Has he explained what will happen to my current plan that I kind of like?

Those who expect the government to give them everything must first give everything to the government.

Read the Declaration of Independence ("We hold these truths to be self evident, that all mean are created equal; Endowed by their CREATOR with certain inalienable rights"). Do you read the religious overtones in that?

Ventura said it best on Larry King last night, he said (paraphrasing): " I'm of the 40 percent, meaning the 40 percent of Americans who are independants and are not being represented by the duopoly." Later He went on to say " Who are the 40 percent going to vote for? I don't know, it comes down to what they see as the most important issue, if it's taxes, then McCain might get their vote. If it's the war or the economy, it's probably going to go Obama."

He talked extensively about how the 2 parties are ruining the country, they block ballot access to third parties, they use their connections to keep third parties off the T.V., he did a pretty good job of handling both sides of the Republicrats.

Has he explained how he is going to pay for it?

Yes, and it is a very good plan.

Has he explained what will happen to my current plan that I kind of like?

Yes, and you will really like the idea that he has for those who already have insurance.

Those who expect the government to give them everything must first give everything to the government.

Who are you referring to?

Let me guess. He takes money from one group of people (let's call them "rich") and provides for another group of people (let's call them "poor"). Problem is, "rich" includes the middle class and the "poor" includes loafers.

If I like my own insurance, why does he have to mess with it? I mean, I picked it, I pay for it. What business is it of the government. Does he know what is good for me better than I know what is good for me? He must be one smart guy.

On the final point, I am referring to every citizen of the U.S.A. Now, for those that don't pay taxes, they may not care giving up everything. For the likes of me, I think it is fundamentally unfair to take the fruits of my labor and give it to someone else who didn't work for it.

I don't like anything about Obama because he is a typical tax and spend liberal. There is no "change" as he calls it; it is the tired old philosophy from the New Deal.

It's not a perfect system, and, even though I side with the Democrats on a lot of issues, I don't agree with them 100% of the time.

My father was a Republican, God rest his soul.

My mother still is, God bless her.

I still love her even though I sometimes disagree with her politically.

My brother is a Democrat.

I am an Independent, and will probably vote for Obama.

Not because I agree with everything he believes in 100%, but because I feel electing Obama as President is the best chance to end this war, which is tearing our nation apart.

People can vote for Ralph Nadar or Ron Paul if they wish, but, in my opinion, they're throwing their votes away.

They might as well stay home and not vote.

The system isn't perfect, that's why Independents who want the system changed need to band together to make sure third parties are represented in future Presidential elections.

Independents have the power to vote for Independent candidates at the state and local level.

And they have!

Independent candidates have been elected!

Everything starts local.

If enough Independent candidates are supported at the state and local levels, then, maybe, an Independent will have a real chance at the national level in the future.

We have a two-party system. That is what the founding fathers designed. There will be no Independent candidates because they will have no bastion of support to rely upon to get out the vote.

Do you want big government (McCain) or bigger government (Obama).

Again, secure your wallets.

To me, it's do you want to continue the war (McCain) or not (Obama)?

If McCain gets in, tell your children or grandchildren (if you have any) to secure THEIR wallets!
