So again agree to disagree. I do think for the most part that you do explore all that is out there.....as I do....but if God has spoken directly to me....What JB ignore Him and do as I please.....nope it just doesn't work that way. Now if you were to express your beliefs to me.....then that is a good thing....and I could do the same....there should be no argument or myth calling because we believe as we wish...But see the problem arises when you attack what we believe and calling God, Jesus and the Bible a myth is an attack. now I know also that God has spoken to me and said......no need to fight about such trivial things....for the truth will be heard by every man, woman, and child.....and the rest is up to them. So I am trying not to let it get my hackles up. And you right again for the most part I read briefly see it and I read blah blah blah sammo sammo. But the hard part for me is the person truly seeking who might read and believe....Those are the ones I am there for to give another way of looking at things....and letting them choose. |

If it is not true, then it is NOT a "slap in the face to God himself" it can't be. Besides, I would never slap anyone in the face, not even a mere mortal.  I simply speak the truth as I see it. I am sure you have had a spiritual experience of some kind that has help you to believe what you believe. So have I. So I have my own proof. Yes, we can agree to disagree. I will only call the Biblical story a myth when people start using that information as proof. I have to tell them that I don't accept their premise or "proof." Calling it a myth is kinder than calling it a Lie I think. Now if you were to express your beliefs to me.....then that is a good thing....and I could do the same....there should be no argument or myth calling because we believe as we wish...But see the problem arises when you attack what we believe and calling God, Jesus and the Bible a myth is an attack. I don't know how else to express my opinion of what it is. I am certainly not going to agree with you that it is true, nor do I want to discuss the details of the Bible verses or any of that like some people do. I see no point. ... But the hard part for me is the person truly seeking who might read and believe....Those are the ones I am there for to give another way of looking at things....and letting them choose. Okay I see what your concern is. You are worried that someone may chose to believe me or Abra instead of the religious community. It is a competition, and you want to give your side of the story. That's fine with me. I speak to reasonable people with reasonable ideas. I think they can decide for themselves. That is why Abra and me continue to repeat ourselves "over and over" again. In the effort to speak truth to reasonable people who are ready for the truth. Peace and LOve P.S. There are some who need religion, forgiveness, love and acceptance and might do better by going to church. But for those who want to take responsibility for there own lives and make their own decisions and be their own authority, those are the people I speak to. |

Why? If you read the story is it the very same God who's wrath we are being saved from. Debbie says.....the above makes no sense to me at all. God only has wrath for those that don't listen......so is this for you? This would be like a man taking you captive and tying you up in a barn and then setting it on fire. Just when you think you're going to be burned up the very same man comes in and cut you free and 'saves' you. Are you supposed to now worship that man for having saved you from a peril that he himself created and shoved you into?
