Topic: What would u do? | |

OK I have been dating this guy for about 2 months, he treats me like a queen, and I really mean that..buys me stuff, is courtesous, takes me to the shore, dinners, fun stuff, everything a girl could want, except I am not totally in love with him, like there is some chemistry, but not that you know, mind blowing feeling you get when you really dig someone, the sex is pretty good, however. So I am torn, keep him or look for the chemistry, I know I will never find another guy who treats me this way...but should I settle, and it doesn't seem like I am settling, cause we do have so much fun together, so what would you do..keep or not.??

I would say keep him.. But at the same time - if your not in love and then your not.. Don't string him along if you're not. But give him a chance - who knows you may grow fond of him.. Only you know the true answer... Good Luck!!!

He's a keeper, honey! Give him a little longer and see where things go. If, later on, you find that you just dont seem to be feeling any different, then I would let it go. But, until then, sounds like a winner!

Personally, my mind has to be blown. There are a lot of men who will treat you well and be very generous, but so very few that will truly blow your mind. I would rather my love have a generous soul than a generous wallet. I cannot accept less.

Do you think about other guys?
Do you wonder what it would be like without him? Can you forsee a long term relationship? There's alot of questions you need to ask yourself.... Sometimes when you date someone, the feelings sort of ebb and flow, if he treats you right, and there is SOME chemistry, I'd say give it some more time. If there is NO chemistry, i'd say let him go. |

Everyone has been giving you good advice.....
and i was gonna say keep him until you find somebody else & then dump him....isn't that what usually happens?..... at least stay in it for the sex & when that gets old you can dump him....or maybe its going get old for him & he'll dump you.... but since you have this Queen thing happenin' you might want to ask for a diamond ring or a new ipod, maybe an LCD big screen..... dunno, just sayin' |

It will take more time to determine that maybe, but I personally will not stay with someone just because they make me feel good, beyond a reasonable time that I think I should be feeling more. I was assuming that the fact that this question has entered your mind, it may be that decision making time. That is all. You obviously do like him well enough, so it all depends on your own needs. But if you care, you'll carefully consider his as much...even more.

I'm not sure it's fair to him to keep him around if you are not feeling him. The guy sounds like he deserves someone who is really into him; not someone who is merely ok with him. I am putting myself in his place and wondering if I would want to stay with someone who was only with me because of the things I do for them. I don't think so.

Gee what a great gal you are. Talk about stringing someone along. You don't "feel it" with him, yet you let him keep buying you ****, and taking you places? Pathetic. Women say they want a nice guy, and this is one of the main reasons why a lot of guys don't treat women like they want. Who wants to be used, and strung along? Pathetic display of indifference to others feelings in my opinion.
