Humm first of all anyone tells you that kids are considered baggage tell them to check it at the door!!!

First and foremost kids should be each parent high priority.

Yeah my kids are grown youngest is 23.

Raised them for 16 years by myself put my life on hold.

Just got my freedom completely humm go figure my son which is 25 just finally moved out for the like 6th time in Jan.

But..........as far as if the guy has kids or not is not the issue actually to me. It all depends on how well they receive you. I have no plan of raising someone else's kids.

To make that statement clear what I mean is they have a mother I want try to replace them or work against them that is not right. I even got along with my ex's first wife due to his daughter was only 3 at the time we got married.

I believe the one coming in the relationship should take the time to become friends with the kids. I have no problem with a guy that has kids for if I was that interested in the guy then I would accept his kids as well.

But..........now I will not tolerate if they are disrespectful or rude or if they have it out for anyone their parent dates.

But to be called baggage never kids are a blessing.

actually there are women out there who enjoy kids. my ex had 3 kids ages 3,5,8 when i got with him. he had them full time and i sort of took over for almost 3 years....we are not together anymore, but the kids still come to my house all the time...we are still close. (kids and i) my daughter was already 18 and on her own....so we are out there, but you are right, there is a large majority who feel their "baby raising" days are over....
