it's funny, no matter who runs both are going to be hated anyway and no matter who runs half the country will always say neither huh

You are the first one to ever say what I feel. It does not matter how great one feels the person is, once that person gets in office all of a sudden everyone hates him.

I think people just need something to complain about. Sad.

Not true! Sure there will always be some, but 72%???noway

When Kennedy was assassinated the whole country wept.
Many still love Reagan!
Even Carter while many agree (me included) think he was a lousy President, respect the man without hate.

Even Bill Clinton doesn't have 72% hating him!!

You cant dismiss the ridicule and displeasure for Bush as typical Lindy.
You might convince those not old enough to have memory of other Presidents or just the last two, but many of us are almost as old as you. We remember and cant be fooled!

Anyone is better than McCain : This is a fact .

Wrong. Just do some very simple thinking. How long has McCain served in Congress? He is known for being able to reach across the table and work with the dems. One reason the conservative Republicans are upset with him. He does not keep getting re-elected because he is a wash-out with no intellect.(But you do not want to consider such as thing as that.)

He withstood years of torture as a POW, and still remained, in fact became even more, of a strong, steadfast leader.

No, no one is going to like everything he (or any other congressman) has done, but who does in Congress have a 100% favorability? And at least McCain, will admit he has been wrong on some legislation, his thoughts were not what the people wanted, but he is MAN enough to admit it and in turn listen to and do what the people want.

Have you ever listended to a full coverage of McCain? Or do you just go by the little snippets on your biased websites?

Remember now, you have a majority congress, and even though President Bush has a low rating, your democrat majority congress and the fool-hardy Pelosi have the lowest rating congress has ever had, AND it is LOWER than President Bush's. But you people are just determined to have selective memory and forget these simple facts.

Pelosi and her 'gang' have spent the last 2 or so years just being spiteful against President. Yep my dear, real good leadership, just the best leadership our country ever had.

Let's play "spite the opposing party" some more and see where the USA ends up.

Nevertheless, he was what we needed at the time and he never had the critics that Bush does!

I wouldn't want Reagan as President today either.
But, he was what we needed after Nam and Watergate. He gave the country back a sense of pride and helped us remember our greatness!

very true but I'm worried about mccain he wants to follow bushes path i just don't see it

No, McCain does not WANT to follow President Bush's ways. I for one think Bush is great, there is just so much hatred out there and the democrats have spent so much time 'hating and being spiteful.' McCain simply has some conservative Republican values about him. Far from being as conservative as I would like, but he is the BEST for today's world.

President Bush wanted to do something with SS. A simple yet very practical idea. All of you, I am sure, have a 401(k) or an IRA. President Bush simply wanted to allow the people to take 1% - one measley percent of what we pay in SS taxes and set up our own IRA, 401(k) type plan, that the government could never touch and could be left to that person's family upon death. ONLY 1 %!!! And the rest of the SS tax percentage would go right to where it goes now.

But again, the good old Democrats started using scare tactics and making the older generation scared to death. My parents, before they passed away, lived in a senior center retirement village. They asked me, as I am active in my local boroughs Republican Committee, to go to their 'clubhouse' and explain President Bush's plan. At least they were feeling much better after my talk.

BUT, OH, NO, says the democrats. We cannot do such a logical thing. THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH SS NOW. Well sweethearts, just wait a few years when we babybooms start collecting our social security. Don't come to me crying, or the Republicans. We TRIED to tell you.

Democrats idea of running government - wait till it is too late, then blame the congress preceding it for all the problems. Ever hear of pass the buck? Won't be able to say that about President Bush.

Clinton, of course:
-More experience
-Solid
-Global and local interests
-Girl Power
-Sensitive
-For the working rich and poor
-Good person all around

Total SOCIALIST.

One thing on her behalf, I must say. She has worked very hard on this campaign and now, the dems want her to pull out. WHY? It is sooo close, why should she pull out?

With all the dirt that has been pouring out on Obama, that man is a very scary, traitor type person. Now this Father Flager incident. It is quite obvious that Obama has for a good 20 years been hanging out with the very far left radical people. Wonderful, just wonderful.

Why would the dems want such an extreme radical as Obama over Hillary? I do not think they themselves even know. I think a lot has to do with her being a woman.

Ugly, ugly, ugly campaigning on democrats part.

We need an American for President not an African.
If you think I'm so stupid that you have to tell me your color. Fine tell me your color. I don't care about color. But if you tell me your an African, I say pack your **** and head back to Africa. We need an American.

I attribute Obama's popularity to the Oprah Factor. She endorses & the nation goes nuts. It's sick....

I disagree with you about McCain though. I do NOT see myself voting for him AT ALL! You know what's going to happen... he will destroy the GOP with his wishy washy stands on everything. He will do to the country what Whitless did to the GOP in NJ. NOT GOOD! What we get will be off the wall DEMS by default & crapier & crapier govt.

No...I say let the DEMS control everything. People will be chomping at the bit in 2 years to get rid of them & maybe we will elect REPS with integrity as a bonus.

If I do vote I will be writing in Duncan Hunter who was my choice all along. The powers that be didn't like him because he didn't line up with THEIR agenda that is destroying our country & freedoms too.

Anyone who really is watching would have known that too.

I agree. But, even so, either one of them is still better than McCain. sick

I think too many Americans are going to vote based on bigotry rather than using intelligence.

Of these three candidates I would have to vote Obama as the best of the three.

He’s the only true humanitarian in the bunch.
