Who may I ask cares he is only in office for another 8 months. I would say the parents of 4.000 soldiers killed, almost as much suicidal because of depression after 4 TOD in Iraq, and about an UNKNOWN number of amputees and double amputees / blinds / you name it...Besides the hundred of thousand of iraqui civilian killed in the past years? the death rate of the service personnel in iraq is a lower percentage than the death rate of the same age group in the united states so maybe they are safer there http://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/preview/mmwrhtml/mm5649a1.htm 4000 in how many years and how many were sent there not approving nor condemning just saying |

If we impeach presidents for that, then if the president takes the country to war on a lie where thousands of American soldiers die horrible, violent deaths and over 100,000 innocent Iraqi civilians, including women and children, even babies are killed, the punishment obviously has to be much, much more severe. That's just common sense. If Bush were impeached, convicted in the Senate, and removed from office, he'd still be a free man, still be able to wake up in the morning with his cup of coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice and read the morning paper, still travel widely and lead a life of privilege, still belong to his country club and get standing ovations whenever he chose to speak to the Republican faithful. This, for being responsible for over 100,000 horrible deaths?* For anyone interested in true justice, impeachment alone would be a joke for what Bush did. " People like you should get involved in politics and try to change stupid laws that do not make sense . Any person should not get away with a planned murder anywhere on this planet . A life of an innocent person is very valuable to be taken by anyone .  . |

Lot of my friends were or are in iraq putting their lives on the line, yet they say it is a must that we see this through...it's hard to dispute that...we can sit here on our asses and ***** and moan but they are the ones putting it all on the line and believe whole heartedly in what they are fighting for
we've lost 4000 or so soldiers in this war...small compared to how many we lose to drugs and other criminal dealings yearly. |
