Actually it has only been a year for you that is not very long actually. Take time to get to know them more on a friends level.

We all make the mistake of running into a relationship been there done that and it never works.

Could be your being way to nice to them and it actually scares them off thinking you are rushing and want marriage or something. Not sure

Or you could be finding the ones that just want a casual relationship or just one night stand.

Some do surprise me they will date you till they hit the sack with ya then see ya. It happens with both sexes.

Just take more time to get to know them on a friends level first and let some time go between phone calls ect.. so they don't feel pressured.

Take the time to find yourself and be alone and do things you want to do. More active life you have and they see that the more they may want to be around you.

Ask a lot of questions.

Never smoother them with too much kindness if they don't return your kindness back off.
