McCain should have done everything he could to distance himself from one of the most unpopular presidents in modern history.

But he didn't and he won't.

Bush Jr. will stick to McCain like the tar baby stuck to Brer Rabbit, and will sink his chances in November.

"We have a policy that fundraising events are closed events," the aide said, adding that any confusion about the fundraiser originally being open to the press should be chalked up to the campaign "working out the kinks" on its first event with Bush.

Of course they are!
They wouldnt want anyone to see all the oil tycoons and weapon manufacturers who will be donating money, now would they??laugh laugh laugh laugh

OMG, let the man do what he wants. He is not one to change who he is to win an election. If he wins he will win for who he is and not who he is pretending to be.

that is not quite as funny as Obama claiming yesterday that his uncle was a member of the army regiment that freed Auschwitz.laugh laugh laugh Auschwitz was freed by the Soviet army in 1945. Could it be that his uncle was serving in the Red army? And, by the way, his mother is an only childlaugh laugh sooooo, who is his uncle?

then he claims he simply "mis-spoke"...laugh laugh laugh

story is an Yahoo, MSNBC, and fox. Was even on NBC news tonight

of course, there are ppl who will deny the facts and support that his imaginary uncle served with the soviet army in WW2

McCain will do what he wants regardless of what any of us say, thats part and parcel of the Hubris he exhibits.

However, I can't argue with "he will win for who he is", because he hasn't said the same thing twice on alot of topics. So, Who is he: A liar or a pandering nut?

Have I mentioned that McCain reminds me of Gollum?

who's the liberal?
I'm far more conservative than anyone who is supporting McCain, McCain and his followers PLAY at Conservatism while some of us actually believe in it.

Nowhere did I defend Obama and Hillary having issues with the truth, but for Christs sake, cut the partisan bullcrap and call these people, all three of them what they are: Liars.

McCain got up about six months ago and told a group of Conservative voters that he didn't realize how against Amnesty they were and, I'm quoting here, "I heard your voices." However not more than 2 weeks ago or so, he got up in front of La Raza and talked about pushing more of his Amnesty Immigration reform, if he were to become president. Your own NeoCon nutjob pundits, such as Malkin have come unglued about his deception.

http://michellemalkin.com/2008/02/04/john-mccain-la-razas-voice-in-washington/

Is it just me or do brainwashed fake conservatives and extreme leftist liberals pick and choose when they want to look at the truth?
So while Hillary and Obama are telling lies that are intended to drum up voters, but outside of being untruthful, are otherwise harmless. McCain is telling lies that are intended to drum up voters,While seeking and accepting the support of a group of Racsists that actively preach about enacting the Plan of San Diego... Do you know what that is? Thats the plan to recapture the Southwest by force and kill all nonhispanic males above the age of 16.
You had best take a solid look at your candidate before you start labeling other people liberals, McCains politics are not that far removed from Hillary Clintons.

Yea, I agree. He is twitchy, frail and nervous looking all the time. And that anger management issue he has, whew. I think he still has PTSD myself and is not capable of rational, calm decisions.

I agree here also. The neocons are so concerned with not getting a dem or liberal in office that they are not even reading McCain for what he does. I know that I am making a choice between the two evils but I will vote my issues, top issue is the war ending for me so that is where my vote will go. I will have to take the good with the bad as always.

I cannot with good conscience vote for McCain knowing that many more Americans will lose their lives for a worthless cause.

If McCain is indeed "changing his mind", do you really want someone that indecisive leading the nation during wartime? Not me.

Do you really want someone "changing their mind" that much as it pertains to giving between 12 and 20 million illegal immigrants cuts in line? Not me.
So what is it, Is he that indecisive or a liar?

War, I usually like your posts, I find them to be well researched and typically thought provoking.

But what's with this "So what is it..." nonsense?
It's akin to asking someone, "Have you stopped beating your kids yet?". It's not your usual style and it's an ugly tactic. IMHO
