Topic: Santa Clause does not exist.

I never understood the *need* for Santa Claus. Why can't the presents just come from the parents? The whole "be good or you won't get any presents" would still work.

And I think Santa turned into kind of a bully at some point. The original were just nice but the later version was threatening- "he sees you when your sleeping" (pervert!) "he knows when you're awake, he know if you've been good or bad" etc. and then threats.

I was taught to be good for the sake of bringing joy and order into the universe. Why does there have to be an omniscient boogie man?

Is is wrong to lie

Especially to your children

I think it is wrong to keep lying to your children about Santa Clause.

people have claim to have seen santa in their house even climbing down their chimney with a bag full of toys, parents even take their children to the mall to see santa and sit in his lap and ask for their wish to come true, on the News during the weather reports the News service tracks santa and his reindeer with doppler radar, people claim to have heard santa sleigh land on their roof tops,

there are cookies or hot coco or alcohol left out for santa that disappears and the kids swear they saw santa feast on it and even the post office send all the mail that is addressed to santa to the north pole and it's a federal offense to intentionly mis-direct the U.S. mail and what about the kids that will kneel and pray to santa to answer their prayers

so are all these people that claim they have seen or heard or receive blessing from santa all lieing or delusional ..clearly the government wouldn't approve of or even condone or take part in such a deception of it's citizens ..so clearly this means that santa exist

laugh laugh

It's a giant conspiracy.

NORAD hear in Colorado even tracks Santa and his sleigh every year across the sky. This just goes to prove how deep the lie is embedded into the fabric of our entire society.

It's a mass government conspiracy of lies. It goes all the way to the top. I mean to destroy the myth of Santa and uncover fake Santa's all over shopping malls this coming year.

I was already instrumental in stopping the Salvation Army from using fake Santa's for ringing bells on street corners. As you can see, they don't wear Santa suits anymore.

This year I'm going to NORAD with my protests of their lies about tracking Santa. This conspiracy has got to stop.

Lies Lies Lies.

As you see they are contagious.!!!

my kid believes in santa.i told him i bought the toys and santa delivers them....
as far as bills it works for me..laugh

A true story:

I was my opening bills and my sister, who was my new roommate, saw me toss two of them in the trash.

She asked me why I did that. I said because I just don't have the money to pay them. She asked why did I throw them in the trash, why didn't I set them aside.

I said. "Oh, they will send another one next month, no problem."

JB,

My, perhaps I should re assess the choice of wording used, and attempt to determine a different meaning. Well, I must have completely misunderstood these statements from you...

It is wrong to lie...

I think it is wrong to keep lying...

It is not simply the lie itself. It's the loss of trust that does the damage in the end.

Sure looks like you said, quite clearly may I add, that "It is wrong to lie."

That is judgement... loud and clear... and I absolutely agree!!!

It is wrong to lie.

But then you come up with this??? huh

Creative I want to make this very clear so read carefully.

I did not pass judgment on the right or wrong about using lies or the "pretending method" of manifesting an experience.

So then I suppose that it is not wrong to lie?

As I said before... What is the difference?

Then you say this...

I think it is just being dishonest, plain and simple. I personally would not feel right doing it.

I am completely confused by your duplicitous nature concerning the concept of dishonesty.

As I said before...

On one hand it is obviously ok to be dishonest with the powers at be according to your expressions concerning manifesting reality, but on the other hand it is wrong???

I read carefully enough JB... I suggest you do the same! huh

Okay I did. (And I do still think it is wrong to lie, especially when the lie has the potential to harm someone.)

When I described the creative method that has been used by some people which uses "a lie" (which is the pretending method)to help create the reality they want, I was simply telling people about this method and giving examples to demonstrate the Law of Attraction.

I did use the lie method to manifest the apartment in the back of my store. But that lie did not harm anyone, nor could I imagine how it would, and the apartment in the back of the store did exist all along, it just was not in very good condition.

I guess some people who tell the Santa Clause lie don't feel that it can be harmful and they don't feel it is wrong. My experience was different. I don't like being lied to about something that effects me when I ask for the truth.

But if my neighbor lied about having a wine cellar for whatever reason, it does not effect my life in the slightest so it would not harm me in the least.

So I will concede that perhaps all lies are not "wrong" but lies that effect or could harm someone else I would personally not feel right about.

I think our conscience, (that little voice inside) speaks volumes to us when we are doing something that is or might be harmful to others. I know mine does and I always try listen to it.

JB

Also, more than the lie, the loss of trust of someone because of the Santa Clause lie was the harmful part.

The pretending lie for manifestation, should not involve that kind of loss of trust, it is simply a creative visualization technique. If there is any betrayal going on, then it is harmful.

When I made the post about the Santa Clause lie, I wanted to make a strong point. I think that betrayal of trust in a lie is the part that harms most.

I knew a girl who was a pathological liar and told amazing and creative stories all the time which was very entertaining. People would ask me why I even listened to her because they knew she was lying. I said that her lies did not bother me in the least because they did not effect me at all.

But if I had to trust her with a life and death bit of information, I would not be so forgiving if she lied to me.

I understand JB... I once had a very entertaining best friend who liked to embellish as well...

Dishonesty fosters spiritual unrest...

That is my opinion...

I do not like it, nor how it makes me feel... personally, I mean...
