Lots of reasons -- distance, too many fake people, lack of realistic ways to meet someone decent --
For me, it's always been because my preferences are fairly restrictive, and don't mesh well with people who gravitate to a more standard, mainstream lifestyle. But I figure it's better to be alone than be with the wrong person for the 94th time. So I waited until someone came along who shared my preferences. It took awhile, but it happened. |

I agree with Jim ... But I do have a soulmate, and we are more compatible than I ever thought possible  ...it's just workin out the kinks that takes the time.
