seem to fight over men more often than the opposite? Guys normally are encouraging to each other if they see one of them is with a hottie. On the contrary women will often begin to pursue a man they've had no prior interest in if they find out he is taken. A woman once told me it is because women are b!tchy. What's the deal? I still don't understand this phenomenon myself.

I think I see your point Water about the women will often begin to pursue (and men do this too) someone they had no prior interest in after they are taken. Isn't that what they say, that it's when one stops looking, that is when "it" happens?

I don't believe this phenomenon is very prevalent. I can't imagine a man worth fighting for; and anyway, it should be for him to choose who he wants. I think guys like to imagine that all the women they meet want them; and that the ones who don't are gay. Now THAT is common.
