Everyone's upset when someone doesn't have pictures on their profile. But you all seem fine when someone has no pictures of themself but paintings or cartoons or something. Why is that?

even a cartoon shows us some personality.. thats all we want.. something ANYTHING that shows us that you are a person.. with a brain.

You have a good point there. At least with non-self pictures...people are expressing themselves somehow. And that's better than nothing.

not everyone is ok with cartoons, usually when they are it's b/c the person has real pics within their profile..

It's called a "double standard"- When the COOL people are putting cartoons and fine art in their profile pic collections, it's "cool". But if someone decides NOT to have pics in his or her profile, it's "not cool" and the person is bannished from cooldom by being called "the one WITHOUT profile pics". However, you just KNOW that if the cool people decided to not put in/remove all their profile pics, then THAT would be considered cool. Hope this helps.

Its my experience that when I clic on a "Blue Box" there usually is no info about the person either. Or very little.

Someone once told me I should lose my birdie for my pic. And it was a really cool bird too!

I think you should have at least one pic of yourself but it doesnt have to be your main pic

thing is. ill be one of the first to.... "helpfully sugggest"... that ablue box get a pict.. any pict!!!! cuz thing is.. cool or not.... anything is better than nothing... show me any form of life in there!!!

I think you should have at least one pic of yourself but it doesnt have to be your main pic I agree, and I don't care if its an old pic.
