Topic: How good are you at saying, "no"?

It can be difficult sometimes. People often try to take advantage of others, and that is when it is important to know the value of saying "No" to unreasonable demands. I find I can say "No" pretty easily. But, even so, I do not enjoy the tense and hostile behaviour levied at me when I do this. However, I would rather put up with some tension than opt to be walked over by people.

I most definitely can say NO quicker and easier, than saying YES

I can say "No" more easily to my son than my boss... but she doesn't ask for weekend trips to Hawaii or an iguana, either. I find that I rarely say no, but rather use different language. Often it can be as simple as an explanation as to why, when, or how I will do or will not do what is asked. With a smile.

The only person I find it hard to say no to is my daughter. It will always be that way to Born... mine is 24 and I still have trouble saying no! I love her so much it just seems to come out "Oh sure no problem" lol!

I can't say no to my family. I can't tell you how many times my cousin asks me to watch her son. I always say yes b/c I love that kid to pieces, but I already take care of my 9 year old nephew all the time. I don't always feel like adding another one into the mix, but I always do it.
