It would be a warning, something like not falling in love with ex and then things wouldn't get all too complicated. I'd be 23 then

I would be in my teens, would tell myself to move in with my grandpa, was supporting myself anyways, tell myself to go to college as I planned - do not date my ex under any circumstances and certainly never marry him. Have faith in myself and trust my judgment and don't let my mother beat me down. That I was a good person. Don't listen to the jerks in my life who put me down and make something better of my life.

Would hope that my life would be a lot better now that it has been for years. But, who knows.

I'd get this letter at age 3 and it would say be very observant to make sure you don't ever follow in your father's footsteps. Read this letter every year on your birthday so you never forget. Also, don't hang out with your older brother until he's at least 33 yrs old. If one person breaks your confidence, don't lose your sense of who you are. You are beautiful and intelligent and can grow up to be any kind of person you want.

Regardless of what your mom tells you, being married is not the most important thing in life. The most important thing is to never forget that you are worthy of love. Pay attention in school and be sure you go to college straight after high school... look into grants and/or scholarship programs if necessary. Never second guess your gut feelings, they will save you from many heartaches. Above all, never lose faith in God. He will ALWAYS be there when you look for Him. You are loved!

I guess I'd send it to myself at around 9 years now, telling myself not to get into watching professional wrestling on television. It's led me down a path I regret going on.
