I do yoga and meditation! As long as you take it seriously it can really relax you and make you a more positive person overall!

It helps alot for relaxation. Basically what a person needs to learn is how to breath properly from there you can reach unimaginable levels of relaxition. I guess the max is what is called extacsy.

There are many forms of meditation. Being present is meditation ...
Have you ever gotten lost in the flames of a fire ... no thought ... time and space disappears ... that is meditation. Being fully present whether you are in a field or doing the dishes is meditation. There are many forms of breathwork, relaxation and transendental meditation... The path you take will depend upon what it is you want to achieve. |

I do yoga and smoke a bowl now and then, lol, that's all the meditation I need, but I do hear it works...not a whole bowl, just a few tokes..

I do my own form, breath in and breath out, totally focus on the breathing, getting your mind off everything else. And then breathing in what you want, i.e. peace and breathing out what you don't want, i.e. stress. Actually saying that aloud..."Breath in peace, breath out stress" as you are really deeply breathing. It really helps to relax oneself. I also have some meditation tapes, like ocean waves, rainstorms, etc. to listen to that you can totally focus on to clear your mind of all the 'clutter'.
Or when laying down at night and my mind is running rampant, start at your toes, totally relax them, then your feet, then your calves, then your thighs, working all the way up your body part by part to the top of your head. Truly focusing on that process is very relaxing and calms the mind and body. It's amazing how tense your entire body can be just lying in bed and you don't even realize it until you are done with this process! |
