I'm big time dog ppl...my favorites have always been golden retrievers, German short hairs, springer spaniels and border collies. They are all intelligent, good natured and easily trained, but the retrievers are the lowest maintenance, being less hyper/anxious/gun shy. IMO
Presently, I have a mutt, collected from the highway on a road trip who is just as fab as any retriever. Sometimes it's just in the individual personality I suppose. |
