hey everyone i was reading the local paper today and i read a couple of
things that kinda set me off and i wanted to get some other peoples
opinions on it.why is it that someone who gets arrested for drugs is
sentenced to 10 or 15 years in prision,while a child molester or
rapist(in some cases)gets only 5 years or less.does anyone else see
something wrong with that?wouldnt you think that a rapist or child
molester would get a harsher sentence.

if you ask me keep the drug dealers in prison for life and the rapists
or child molesters should rot in hell.

i totally agree if u rape a kid you get nothing get caught with a joint
and the bat you to hell

It's pretty messed up along with many other laws we have.........two
years ago, we had to deal with a student that told us she was molested
by a family member...not pretty.

you would have to be a sickm @#*&@#* to do that.i hope she is doing well
now,and he got what he deserved.

It took forever and she is like severly overweight from all of the
emotional trauma......

being molested can ruin a childs life.they are scarred forever.

poor thing,tell her to hang in there.i'm sure that things will get
better

Well my thought's on that is i think they should kill the people that do
that to children and let god deal with them ,then our prisons wouldn't
be over crowded and our children may be safer ,give the child molesters
and rapist something to think about before they act on their sick
desires if they know they will be killed

Here in oregon i think the cops just shoot you. they like shooting
traffic offenders here. or someone who takes their clothes off.

i couldn't agree more with you guys. my goddaughter was recently
molested by her father. the state's attorney won't prosecute him b/c
they say they don't have enough evidence and she's too young (this is in
Illinois). the physical evidence is there as well as the emotional.
she's only 6 yrs.old and she has nightmares because of what he did to
her. i'd murder him myself if i wasn't a God-fearing christian. he'll
get what's coming to him. all of them will.

My opinion is there is no punishment to severe for those who hurt a
child. In some cases I think the death penalty is in order. Not a
sentence of death and then 40 years on death row while all the appeals
are heard. A sentence of death and 10 days later the offender gets to
take the kinks out of a brand new piece of rope.

Drugs??? When are we going to learn that prohibition don't work. We
tried it with booze in the 1920 and it didn't work. Now we think that
it will work with drugs. We spend billions of dollars every year on the
"War on Drugs" and we stop less than 10% of the drugs that are coming
into the country. To win the war on drugs we need to declare victory,
legalize them, and spend the money we used to fight the war on drugs on
other useful things. All we have done with the war on drugs is make a
bunch of criminals rich.

I may be a rednecked conservative, but I ain't stupid, what we are doing
is not working and doing more of the same thing and expecting different
results is insanity. You can not legislate morality.

Well i think feeding them for any amount of time is a waste of tax
payers money i say the day they get caught is the day they should say by
to this world.

I think drug dealers should just get pimp-slapped in public just for
bein caught, and rapists and child-molesters should be hung by the neck
with their pants down and **** cut off to set an example.

if you sell drugs to minors and you get caught throw yur ass in jail for
life.
sell to adults, throw the buyers in jail for life since they have no
respect for their bodies and health.
rapists....rape them back let them feel what it feels like, torture them
slowly....then let them die slowly...because rape victims although im
not one...im sure thats what their lives feel like everyday...a slow
death sentence. its simple an eye for eye. the law plays
favorites...justice takes care of business.
molestors...the same punishment as rapists...only give them like a gang
rape first then the rest. just for hurting kids.
