OK when oh when are we ever going to see the gas price go down. And why dont they just put it up to $4 a gallon I mean come on up a few cents in the morning and by the afternoon another few cents are added..Everybody I know is being hit by the gas price im thinking this week when and if I really have to go to town and im thinking that my drive to work will be the time I can go and do stuff...Take today, a day off for me, one like everybody else I look forward too and me and my son would be chilling with friends and going out to lunch, checking out the Mall looking at all the stuff that I cannot afford, but heck I decided that it was best to stay at home, and when I return to work is when I shall go and pay bills and shop and all the normal stuff..........You really have to think twice if you really need to go into town. And the the summer coming and prices set to rise again and again.....This summer is going to be a bummer .No park...No Lake.....No going over to friends house and BBQ ..It amazes me that the Govorment can send Thousands of Troops over to another Country ( which God Bless all who are there) but its own country is going to the Dogs...Go figure...................

You are so right on with everything you said. We just have to tighten the straps a bit tighter, weigh the pros and cons of what we can make do or do without......it really sucks. When you've got a limited amount to spend with bills and all it makes it even harder with the damn gas prices going up and up and up

Gas prices won't be going down. With the falling dollar (not to mention the insatiable greed on the part of OPEC and the corporate oil companies selling us our fuel), prices won't be leveling off any time soon. It's already been said that oil and gas prices will continue to rise with each percentage point the U.S. dollar value falls. And since the dollar has done nothing BUT fall lately, you can see where this is going.

The only way gas prices will drop is if an INCREDIBLY cheap secondary form of energy arises to totally supplant our insatiable thirst for all things petroleum-based. An inventor in San Diego had done just that a number of years ago when he discovered a way to use electricity to break water down to oxygen and hydrogen, which could be used to power everything from plasma cutter-like devices to automobiles. He even had finished, working prototypes (including his daily driver automobile) in his possession.

Unfortunately, he was found dead of "mysterious causes" (meaning "murder") not too long ago. Had this person's invention been allowed to be made, it would have shaken the foundations of energy dependency to the core. You could fuel your car NOT with gasoline, but with water. Pure simple WATER. It doesn't get more ground-breaking than that.

I say burn it all down and start over

Didn't have time to get gas on the way to work. On the way home, it was 10 cents up again. I think it is the first time I've seen it go up on a Monday.
