i just found out that i have a customer who is playing me. shes been telling me how shes single, dropping hints about us getting married, ect. ect. when it turns out that all the time she has had a bf. Im in the middle of a big const. project at one of her houses. Obviously shes trying to get better prices. whats my next move, if any. confused and hurt.

You want the business I'm sure... Just let her comments slide or flirt enough that you feel comfortable if that's what it takes to get the business and you want it that is... And DON'T give her price breaks but let her think she's getting them.. How'd you find out?

im really upset about this. i guess i just need to shake it off and finish the job in a professional manner, but its really hard. I dont treat people like that and i expect the same back. the other part of this is that we have been friends... (i thought) for years.

actually i really dont ned the business, im too buisy now anyway. One problem for me is that i dont feel comfortable on the job anymore.

I mean the marriage thing was serious? 2) an investigator is a very SORE subject with me as it was done to me and the used the wrong info and got back the wrong info so I'm really not a fan especially without getting the persons permission...

I would talk to her, and the BF. In that I would bring it up the next time he is there. If he is never there, well that is odd. What do you know? What do you want to do? I think your best bet is to talk to her. Tell the guy only if you are done with her totally. But it sounds ilke a friendship was lost. I'm sorry.

Start finding the hidden damages that make your price go through the roof. actually theres plenty of that going on. the basement was never waterproofed and i need to dig it out and waterproof it.... theres mold in a section of the house that needs abatement.... theres some earth change issues...... hmmmm,

lill. im afraid that all talking to her is gonna do at this point is make me xtra mad, as i know she will deny all....
