I keep meeting women who I talk with and are very open. The problem is the talking only stays at that level. I want to meet others too. I think this is a normal expectation.
The ones I meet locally become more reserved it seems because the dating and meeting is a very real possibility. How do you deal with the distance? Do you find the same thing about local vs. remote or am I the one getting mental? |

Do you find the same thing about local vs. remote or am I the one getting mental? I don't know, seems to me you're finding women who are afraid of commitment. I've experienced the same thing, men email me intensely for a few days and then they seem to lose interest when it seems like it might actually become something besides conversation; just one of the drawbacks of internet dating. That's one of the many reasons I'm only on this site for the forums. Good luck to you though.

Well, I can be very open with you as you live in CA....
No... I just think that it is less likely that you can focus on only what you want to see or portray in a closer proximity situation. You have to be reserved, and let things come out slower. But really, for me, I could care less either way. If a guy who sparked my interest was local, I'd say hey let's grab a coffee. That has scated many guys away. I'm just a person to person sort of person. |

No... I just think that it is less likely that you can focus on only what you want to see or portray in a closer proximity situation. You have to be reserved, and let things come out slower. But really, for me, I could care less either way. If a guy who sparked my interest was local, I'd say hey let's grab a coffee. That has scated many guys away. That's completely delicious, The expectation thing makes me more and more excited about him. When he calls I feel buterflies in my chest..I love distance
