Topic: My Soul Mate

My Soul Mate I sit and ponder some crazy thoughts, About the Real essence of poetry. When I hear a commotion outside my door, That raises my curiosity. So with fearless abandon, I chase what I seek. And in three leaps and bounds, Through the peep hole I peek. And through a circular world, I spy standing there, A creature of love. Impossibly rare. Soft skin and two eyes, Invitingly blue, That tell me she'll love me, And forever be true. With black shimmering hair, Curling round her sweet smile. I feel my heart skip, Then stop for a while. Just with one look, I felt my pain cease. And my heart whisper wonder, At it's missing piece. My soul mate... I feel it to my deepest core, This is the one who understands me... This one that I Know I'd die for... My heart finally snaps, Slowly starts to beat again. And my hand races for the door knob, To let my soul mate in. Now as I slowly turn the knob, A smile upon my face I dawn. The door finally stands open... well crap... She's Gone! With Equescent thoughts... FroznChild

I love your poetry -don't ever stop writing. I told my friend we had sexy poets here, and I wrote her a poem..but none of the sexy poets came LMAO... sounds like inner-sex poetry! I'm a sexy poet... who doesn't blow it... (His own horn)
