I dont pray.... I dont pray for help with my current marital problems.... I dont pray for happiness.... I dont pray to not be lonely anymore.... I dont pray for alot of things I should..... But I do pray for my mother.... She has to go to Hopkins to get a section of her large intestines removed Friday. She is on blood thinners and she has a large chance of bleeding out.... If she waits for the thinners to wear off she could get a worse infection and die.... But if she gets the surgery there is a chance they wont be able to control the bleeding..... If the surgery fails.... and she pulls thru OK.... she may have to be on a bag the rest of her life.... All with mothers day coming.... Im not looking for attention.... Im not crying wolf.... Im not looking for how many views I can get.... Im not looking for supportive responses to this post.... But If you could.... Please Pray for her.... My soon to be ex-husband had a bowel resection the first year we were married and I stood by his side. What you go through is difficult and a harrowing experience, but trust me,you have done everything you can do. She has a good doctor, she is trying to prepare the best she can. Everything else is in god's hand. Yes I will pray, but let me tell you something. Whatever the risk, it's the best decision she could have made, the best decision the doctors could have made, and remember no matter the out come she will always be your mother and dear to you and your heart. |
