How many of you have had/do have an online relationships? How long have they lasted? If it didn't last, what was the biggest reason for the break up?

lasted almost a year ..almost got married. still trying to figure out y it ended |

way to far from one an other!
 being over seas sucks! what a hell of a way to go!

But i actually met some one in my town online part only lasted the first day
|
|
|
|

A year and a half altogether... I knew him for a year, in that time I visited him twice, moved in the third time I saw him... lasted 6 months after that, so 1 1/2 yrs.
It didn't last because it was too much pressure on him, he was too immature and too used to being a single person living alone. Of course he got married to someone 2 years after I left, and he's very unhappy now. Karma's a beotch!

I think that if you spend time really getting to "know" someone before meeting, you can get a false sense of knowing someone - and then often find the person you meet isn't anything like the person you expected to meet. Just my take
