that when you do find that one person out of your whole list of "mutual matches" that you actually share some things in common with, you send them a clean and honorable message and yet they dont respond? this is happeneing way too much

.........good question.

i can only speak for myself: i answer all emails as long as they are personal, and the sender is referring to something i said in my essay.

if he has taken the time to read about me, i will take the time to answer. flowerforyou

Most people, myself included ignore the mutual matches. However, if you have sent them emails and not received any responses, then I'd say their loss. Cause that's kinda tacky. flowerforyou

It's because "mutual match" stinks and should never have been implemented in the first place.

Oops... I've said too much as it is. embarassed

i dont really think its the fault of the "mutual match" but rather for the individual, but i guess that its the individuals that im attracted to appearently are flakes, because when i send them a polite and not a sexual message, i dont get any responses. i know that if i were to post more on here i may find someone quicker, but at a cost, like a distance cost, it narrows my chances i think ten fold if i were to go that route. i guess all in all im attracted to flakes, yea for me (sarcasm)

Are they local? I know some don't set their preferences so that their friends can mail them, but just don't respond to other mail if they aren't local.

I think it's courteous to respond to everyone, but I can manage it cause I don't get thousands. happy

I do use the mutual match feature. I am not sure why really.... I do not initially send many messages to people I am matched with. However, I do receive a lot of messages and I respond to all of them. Kinda rude not to...
