Hey i'm living with my ex right now as we speak..long story..i should be out by july..but we r great friends and yes dating has been an issue..u might want to talk to him about that.. i think its great that ex's can be good friends, especially with kids involoved..my kids have been great with me here and they know i have to leave soon I agree......we are better friends now then when we were married.

I wouldn't do it, no way. I'd rather live in a cardboard box. Outdoor plumbing does kinda suck though... you oughta know

the emphasis should be how the kids can handle/adjust to this ~ it may be confusing to them. kids first. They love the idea and know we are not getting back together.

My ex husband and I are going to lease the house I'm in together next month for a year. We have three children together and get along really well. What do you think? Would you lease a house with your ex? Do you think this will keep me from having a boyfriend ? What will you do when he moves his girlfriend in, or have her stay over, And how is this set up healthy for the children.What choices are they going to make for themselves, by the examples your setting? And exactly what example am I setting? That Mom and Dad can still be friends and help each other out. Wow is that a bad example......whatever brian

Well my son and his ex just told me in Jan they were going to do this same thing. They found a real nice 3 bedroom house moved in it lasted less then two months shsh they were at each other necks. Now he lives in the house and she moved out with a friend. Ohhh well I did not get into it told them it was up to them but...they better make things pleasant around my grand daughter. For then I would step in lol

why the divorce????? how long ago??? do you remember anything from it? ok...kids are resiliant so they will bounce back from whatever you decide...its ok to give them false hope that they will have a whole family again..and when they take the blame for it not working out...your reassurance will be all they need to know..... and I can promise you they will never carry any of this into their own lives ...or the lives of your grand babies...jmo

They KNOW we are not getting back together. They love the fact that we have been good friends since the divorce which was over 5 yrs ago. So just go for it and commit yourself to no dating for that year. I wouldn't date ANYONE who was still living with someone they slept with... together or not. I don't know any sane person that would. Unless they weren't into you that much.
