Has anyone played silent hill? was it way freeky? I love the movie so I thought I might try it out. What console is it for?

The first silent hill is for PS1. Silent hill 2-4 and Silent Hill Origins are PS2. and yes all the games are amazing. The best thing to do if you really wanna get the crap scared out of you is play the games at night with all the lights turned off. So it's just the glow coming from the game on the TV. Messed up stuff...

Oh yeah. I love Silent Hill myself and after looking at the screenshots, I'm very excited about Silent Hill 5 coming out later this year. And definitely in the dark is how they're meant to be played.

Silent Hill 3 in my opinion was the best one. Silent Hill Origins was originally for PSP but is very impressive. Its a very good franchise.

The movie doesn't even come close to the creepiness of the game.

I must say Silent Hill is awesome.I played all of them from my point of view is a must have. Silent Hill 2 and 3 are very nice Silent Hill 4 is different but is not that bad a rookie would love that too in my opinion.Silent Hill Origins is also good but u have to take them in order because the story is complex. My favorite is Silent Hill 2 i just like it a lot the music is very creappy some times.

I'm looking forward to Silent Hill 5. Should be another month. It'll give me something to play whilst I wait for Fable 2.

I love these games. Silent Hill 2 is easily the most disturbing game ever created. Not just for creepy atmosphere and terifying creatures, but the concepts behind the story are truly messed up. I don't want to give anything away... If you're looking for a perfect place to start, go with #2. #1 and #3 are more closely related storywise, if you can handle the PS1's graphics (and controls!) then play all of them from the start.

i've played all of em. they are really freaky. the best part is when you're walking around in fog and your radio scares the crap outta you.

I still remember playing the the original SH for the first time. That game was one scary good time. Definitely must be played with the lights out. That is if you're brave enough...

there is a new silent hill coming out in a few short wks. Graphics look great for the ps4 and 360 version. Should def be some HD Shenanigans worth checking out.

Ive played Silent Hill on PS2 not sure which of the games it was. I can never figure out how to move around on those games and it gives me total motion sickness. I really want to play though it looks so cool.

Silent Hill series is pretty awesome. What few people know is that they made a shooter version for the arcade not long ago =)
