Anyone here know a good cure for a serious bout of depression?? After my accident i have not been able to live the life i am used to, and its only gonna get tougher before i can even walk again. I really dont feel like going on with life.... I think i need some serious help....anyone with advice please feel free to send some my way.

depression is hard to deal with, but you have to be determin and not let it get the best of you,and im sure you are going through alot,,(hugs)

beer and donuts...shared with friends is even better.. seriously, get out if you are able to, dont stay at home, get help now before you fall into a deeper depression... good luck

Go to your doctor....maybe he can prescribe an anti depressant along with a good therapist.

If you can try to vist childrens wards in a Hospital, and people with terminal illness. Most of them will never give into their illness. They are some of the bravest people you will ever meet. And then re evaluate your problem

i don't know much about depression. I consider myself the most ignorant person in the world about depression but when i feel like that, i always remember this short poem, and i keep going: I've never seen a wild thing feeling sorry for itself. A small bird will drop frozen dead from a bough without ever having felt sorry for itself. I hope this helps. It helps me, but everybody os different

I think you need to surround yourself with a good support system and just remember, it could always be worse, right? You just have to be strong. things will eventually get better.
