I tried to make it work for 26 years...the last 15 were Hell. I think inertia took over after the first 5. Hence, why I'm looking for someone who shares many of my interests or is willing to try to develop an interest in those things. I've been accused of 'wanting a clone'. I don't, but dammit, I did that living-seperate-lives-together' thing - I can do that all by myself!

Myself I feel that is is better if both have some things in common as well as things they like that are different. The spice of life is what keeps a relationship going. But like anything else there has to be a common ground in some things.
