I think it's time him and I have a discussion...
My daughter calls me this morning begging for me to come get her. She proceeds to tell me that they always do what he wants to do and not what my ex or daughter wants to do...She is not asking for much...Maybe the zoo, park, aquariam, library, circus...something a little girl would enjoy....Roller skating even? So far, for the last few months on her weekend they have gone to: Pro Rodeo/Bull riding Monster Trucks Tractor Show/Pulls Nascar Race Funny thing is? This is all stuff my ex HATED when we were together...  I will be calling tonight |

i could see why she doesn't like those activities.why not bowling,game places,miniture golf,gocarting,there are plenty of neutural things

Your ex is a *****... sorry dude if you liked that and she didn't like it with you and now she does....I say Hyprocrite (I know it's spelt wrong but I can't spell big words) She is an idiot...I didnt like all that, except the occasional race, but she always said she was glad I didnt enjoy those items because she wouldnt go...Now my daughter is caught up in this mess |

She was in her room behind closed doors calling me, begging that I come get her! But it's not my weekend and the ex said that they had plans...Little did she know my daughter called me and informed me on the plans....Today is the tractor show |

He may just not be used to kids, and not doing it on purpose. Can you just talk to your ex, and see if she's even aware of what they're doing, and how it's making your daughter feel?

He has two boys in the same age range of my daughter. It's clear that its about what he wants to do and they follow along...I also put blame on my ex because I know my daughter voices her opinion on these activities... How does it make her feel? Like she doesnt matter and it bores her |

When its your time to have her, do the things she enjoys....she'll remember her time with you more than anything....

sounds like the ex's new man is a bit of a control freak...always wanting his way...she needs to stand up for her and your daughter...hope it can all be worked out for your daughter!! she deserves to have fun doing things she wants to do too!! ((hugs))

I wonder, has your daughter told them she doesn't want to do these things? I have 1 daughter that would tell them outright, but another daughter that would just take it and tell me later. Maybe a discussion is in order ("pleasant" but firm) and if that doesn't work - then kick some @ss.
