Yes it is true..my disability is a part of me..but why is it the only part that people choose to see? I am so much more that I know for sure.I have a heart full of love,I am just waiting for my ONE to be sent from up above,Are you out there? Will you ever find me? Or am I doomed to a life of loneliness and misery? Is this all there is for me..to be surrounded by those who only see this chunk of metal..are things ever going to get better?..Why can't they see the person inside the chair?.The person that feels,cries,cares and fears.For my true love I will wait..no matter how long it may take.

I can tell somewhat how you feel, I have a disability also, and I was lucky enough to find someone who loves me dispite my disabilities!

Sadly some only see a disability, and I agree that it isn't right. There's more to a person then that, and people should see through that. However, so many are fixed so much upon the physical, that anything else don't matter. You will find someone though. I may have never spoke to you before, but from what I have read you've got a great mind, and a great heart; two very important things that every person should have yet some don't. Just hold out, because the one who sees you for the beauty as well as out will be more rewarding then any person who only wants a small portion of your time. |
