Just reading along here.....I think one point is this guy doesn't do pot on a regular basis, am I right about that? And THEN found out a drug test was coming up? Appears he is afraid it will be positive over something done that is out of the norm for him. Is cheating on the test honest or not? Hell, no. |

I had to do a random drug screening the other day..he failed and I fired him..on the spot. I am a drug free workplace and wont tolerate that crap...period
Whats more important? A job or getting high? Jobs are hard to come by right now, especially good paying ones! Drug users are losers |

I know of someone who needs a pre-employment drug test. This person is considering cheating on this test. My opinion is that this would show a lack of integrity. I am curious to hear your opinions. O really who might that be ? so you know them personally huh ? wow... sounds like a BIG FAT LIE TOO ME ....LMAO @ U  
and you cant even get the storie right he has the job its a random test and hes been their for friggin ten years ... omg yeah he should just have his family starve and loose their home over some stupid mistake ... GET A LIFE >>>

I have read both posts. In addition, there is no way around a drug test that I know of. We have all met someone that does or has done some type of drug. If someone makes a mistake, it is up to that person to fix that mistake. If the ask for help to me that shows that they know they did something wrong and want to fix it. I must be lost because don’t we all do that? Someone please help me to understand why everyone is getting mad over something that does not affect his or her life personally.

Drug users are losers I think it's unfair to make a broad statement like that. I've known some people who used drugs to cope with some pretty bad periods in their lives. You or I may deal with it differently, but I don't think it's fair to call anyone a loser, especially if you haven't walked in their shoes. Just my opinion. |

If they do drugs during the bad periods of their lives, they are not coping. They are not learning how to cope. When you don't learn how to cope, you don't grow up. You can't mature without those experiences. |

Cheating on a drug test because you like to have a hoot on your days off is just another requirement of employment. Honest or not is really irrellevant. Nobody should have the right to "test" you for things like drinking or somking pot on your days off. On the job is different and will be quite evident as will be any other drug abuse such as crack, meth or heroine, but it's not likely they would hold their job for long anyway. Dishonest...yeah, but sometimes a necessary thing. Same as saying "those pants don't make you look fat"
