You're correct - an "honest" illegal alien can get no public benefits, legally. Nevertheless, I watch them everyday in Wal-Mart, whip out a Visa with someone else's name on it (at least she didn't look like a Howard T. Willingham), WIC card, and EBT card, and successfully purchase 20 times more groceries than I could ever afford to.
Of course, it also takes them 15 minutes to check-out, since they seem apparently unable to understand a single word of English.
(May I see your ID? Your ID? Do you have an I-D? Identification? I-d-e-n-t-i-f-i-c-a-t-i-o-n? Driver's License? Anything?)

im telling you it IS accurate... in fact i over heard one b!tching another out for trying to get a job. SOME and i do emphasize SOME believe that we owe it to them. Anyway, he was angry becuase if his friend got a job, then his friend would lose benefits. Hate manifests itself in many forms, and some on this board who prefer to shut their eyes, and not see the truth are some of the biggest haters. People of a particular political affiliation preach tolerance, until presented with something they feel is intolerable. Every person in this country illegally is a criminal, whether a certain percentage of the population is willing to accept that or not. They break the laws of this nation to get here, what makes peole think that they will not break further laws to receive that which they are not entitled too? There are so many loopholes in this country for just about anything a person is willing to exploit. Since the welfare system is so righteous, I am sure there is no manipulation anywhere within it, and only people who are entitled can receive these benefits, correct?

I know of a woman (born and raised USA) who gets SSI/SSD whichever, because she is a drug addict! She gets approximately $500 month in cash, over $200 in food stamps, gets almost all of her heat/electric paid by government programs, gets ALL of her medicine, doctor/hospital bills paid by Medicaid, gets rent rebates.

Of course, claiming 'drug addict' is no longer allowed, (OMG I have to say this and it is killing me, Clinton DID reform the Welfare system and that is when that 'drug addict' application was done away with and people on welfare had to start working some type of work to get any kind of benefits)

But, the system is being extremely abused by illegal aliens. It was posted a while back how people from Mexico come here for medical care as they KNOW they can get it FREE (from public hospitals, not private ones). Hospitals in the California, Arizona areas were shutting down or about to shut down as they were losing so much money from this.
